This peaceful, quiet, tranquil haven is the perfect getaway break from modern life, traffic, stress, and a hectic lifestyle. Immerse yourself in beautiful countryside, the Old Mill House Library, play golf at Vikla Golf Club or enjoy a chat at the bar. Vikla Golf club is so friendly (the golfers as well as the staff) that you will soon be joking among friends. In Klonari your blood pressure will rapidly lower as you relax in a way you haven't recalled for years. The log fire, pretty patio, comfortable rooms and shelves with a variety of books and games, will all remind you of a homely, idyllic childhood. The tap water is piped from the next village, Kellaki, and is possibly purer than you will find anywhere else.

Klonari is a small village of under 20 houses with friendly residents that are only too keen to assist and advise. You are very likely to be invited into their homes within 24 hours of arriving. You will also be offered local fruit produce, fresh eggs, and the like. Traffic is a rarity, the sound of birds is integral to the location, the mountain views are sensational, and the cottage is a renovated stone building which originates over 200 years ago. As you wander through the village along the stone road you will come across cockerels, chickens, friendly people, orange-mandarin-lemon trees and grape vines. Roads leading to the village include many stunning mountain views with many areas that are barely touched by mankind. Such village life is hard to find anywhere in modern society and is often a dream of times gone by.

Birdwatching - Cyprus has 366 different species of bird. It has a birdline with daily changed recorded messages 26270447 and is run by the Cyprus Ornithological Society 26272487.

The Old Mill House is a cosy, yet comfortable sized cottage that can sleep up to 6 adults with modern facilities alongside wooden beams and stone walls built using ancient Cypriot techniques. Due to the quiet location it is ideal for families and is close enough to the beach and local facilities (20 minutes to Governor's beach, 30 minutes to Limassol town).
